How families register:

Ready to pack up and explore the layers of life? Register by emailing highroadscholars@gmail.com and let us know in the subject line which program you are interested in.

For new families, we will send you a waiver and photo release form,

Returning families only need to fill out a waiver for each program unless things have changed with the photo release agreement for your family.

Please email highroadscholars@gmail.com with any other questions.

Cancellation, refund, and deposit policy:

We greatly appreciate your non-refundable deposit of $150 to secure your spot. The remainder is due a month after the deposit.

In an event of a change in your plans, we can refund minus the deposit if we are able to find another camper to fill the space. We aren’t able to refund after camp has begun.

If camp is canceled due to the guide's illness or acts of nature (earthquake, air quality, fires), your family will receive full credit for a future High Roads Scholar program.

Scholarships and CIT opportunities may be available. Please inquire!

High Road Scholars believes youth are capable, community-minded, and inclined to admirable actions. We place our compass to this True North.

We know that forging relationships of trust and bond helps our youth, guides, and mentors enjoy programming together.

Our expectations: Treasured Trust.

We know that some behavior conflicts with the needs of the team. We can use redirection, reminders, and conversation. We have sacred agreements for all programs which must be abided for the physical and emotional safety of all participants.

We will always make every attempt to reach harmony and safety within our cohort using our years of collective teaching experience on staff. However, we know that continued disruptive behavior results in contact of guardians for the dual purpose of either a reset family check in or an immediate pick up of youth from the program. At the discretion of staff, a decision to initiate a consult phone call or physical pick up will be made. In the case of national or international programming, please refer to the contract of that trip which outlines the protocol.

We ask families to please share pertinent behavioral details about your scholars, helping us refine their experience.

We thank you for trusting our skills and rapport. We love our work and hope to continue to invest in our youth for years to come.
